Who are we?
DeluxeHire is a Luxury Catering and Event Equipment HIRE business that supplies corporate clients, caterers, event and wedding planners and individuals, products and services such as chinaware, glassware, barware, cooking machines, staff for hire, vases and candelabras, pop corn machines, etc. We are here to assist anyone wishing to create a successful and fabulous event. 
 
What is this website for?
For ORDERING a FULL QUOTATION only. DeluxeHire is predominantly a HIRE business therefore all online prices are HIRE prices.
 
Are online products also for sale?
98% of all catering, prop and event equipment products online are also available for sale. If you would like to order a new product, please enquire for a quotation.
 
Business Hours
Mondays to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm.
Saturdays - 9am to 12pm. Delivery and collection on Sundays not a problem but will incur additional cost. Please enquire.

Emergency Orders
We are experiencing large volumes of emergency calls from clients apparently let down by other hire companies. We can assist but not always possible as we're not set-up for such a service. It would be ideal for clients to book ahead as before and not wait last minute to contact us. It makes sense that if we can be trusted to deliver during an emergency then it is wise to book ahead. Please note that where we can assist, a penalty charge of £100.00 will be levied.
 
Damage Deposit
We charge a nominal Refundable Damage Deposit against loss, breakage and damage. This is standard practice within the hire industry. Glass breakage, missing cutlery and damage to goods is normal in the hire industry due to the very nature of events. For over 8 years, we have successfully serviced hundreds of clients including a high proportion of weddings. We have supplied to the House of Lord, Harrods, top-end hotels including the Ritz in Piccadilly, numerous corporate clients and successfully supplied hundreds of weddings. We have a solid customer base who know that we deliver and refund deposits within our stated terms and conditions otherwise we wouldn't have lasted this long.  
 
We offer our goods for use in good condition and all we ask is that they're returned as received. Where this does not happen, we reserve the right, as any other hire company, to charge replacement cost against the client's damage deposit. Most clients understand the deal but some don't which is unfortunate. We would like to take this opportunity to assure customers that their damage deposit is safe as long as goods are looked after and returned in the same condition as sent, except where cleaning service has been booked. If you deem yourself to be a responsible hirer, then we are happy to serve you otherwise you may wish to consider other hire companies as we don't have the time nor energy for any undignified disputes.
 
Availability, How Does It Work?
All products show available 365 days per year. Availability depend on a number of factors including hire date, stock levels for that date, courier and other issues. Please check availability before placing order especially large order for next day delivery!
 
DeluxeHire Quality Assurance
One thing customers can be assured of is the quality of our products which is unparalleled in the hire industry. Blessing travels the country to source fabulous products that are of sound quality and fit for purpose. And because we're a relatively young business compared to those that have been around for decades, and some more than a century flogging the same old products? our products are new investments and in tip top condition. What is the mother of invention? Necessity of course! Blessing founded DeluxeHire because she was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of products on offer from other hire companies and set about changing that. It was good that the hire industry took notice and responded to the competition.
 
Is VAT included in online prices?  
Yes all prices include VAT.  We've been VAT registered since 2007.
 
What is your hire period or how long can i hire the goods?
One week. Plenty of time to organise your delivery and collection.
Please be aware that it remains the responsibility of the hirer to return hired goods by their due date.  Hired goods not returned by their due date automatically incur full hire charge every week. For extended or long term hire, charges remain as per contract. Extended hire charges are deducted from damage deposit.
 
Do you offer long term hire?
Yes please enquire.  
 
Do you offer cleaning service?
Yes. Minimum charge is £10.00 for small orders. However, until we receive your order, we cannot offer a definite quote.  No washing charge for linen but heavy stains that will not shift will be charged as new. Example, coloured candle stains on white linen will not shift but red wine stains okay. Mildew will not shift so after event, if possible, please spread linen out to dry overnight.
 
Do you offer any discount for regular clients?
Yes of course. First order no discount. Thereafter 10%  and up to 20% for large orders. Did you say large order? Over £1,000 excluding staff hire. Established caterers get up to 20% discount please call to enquire.
 
Is it possible to order samples of any product?
Generally no but do call to enquire.
 
What is your minimum order value?
£120.00 including vat.
 
REGISTRATION
It is not necessary but useful for regular users and event planning. Draw up one or multiple quotation lists to manage budget, share with friends and colleagues. etc.C
 
What Constitutes A Booking or Confirmed Order?
A Full Quotation that has been invoiced and secured with a deposit or full payment.
 
What Does Not Constitute a Confirmed Order?
  • A phone, email or text ENQUIRY.
  • Order for a Full Quotation via the website.
  • The receipt of a Full Quotation.
 
Requesting a FULL QUOTATION
DeluxeHire website is for ordering a Full Quotation only.
How to:
  • Browse our online catering and event equipment hire product catalogue and choose what you want and add to QUOTE basket.
  • QUOTE basket is located on the right and list the products and cost for each item.
  • Open the basket at anytime to view quotation including VAT but without damage deposit and courier charges.
  • Choose your courier option. Please see delivery below.
  • In the Comment Box, add your preferred delivery and collection dates and any instruction. Please include the actual event date.
  • Update your basket and check out.
  • Please note - the online payment system on our website has been disabled as we need to check availability of products first before any order can be accepted and paid for.
  • The next page give three options choose one.
  • Fill out the online form taking much care especially with the email address then proceed to Confirmation Page.
  • You will be allocated Customer and Order reference numbers.
  • You will also receive confirmation of your quotation request via email.
  • A Full Quotation is sent back as soon as possible for your consideration.
  • All Quotations are reserved for 48 hours only and made available to other clients thereafter.

DELIVERY - How does it work?

Delivery is quoted separately from basket total.
Best way is to send us an email with post code and idea of size of order before requesting quote online.
Minimum courier charge from Slough, SL1 to London is £45.00 each way but may vary depending on postcode and size of van required for the job.
Yes, we deliver NATIONWIDE mostly by couriers on bikes, small, medium or large vans. We have also resumed our pallet delivery service to all part of the UK, but not all goods can be palleted. If your venue is outside London, please enquire for a competitive quote. Please note that hired goods delivered on wooden or in container pallet, as in 3rd picture, will need re-packing as delivered otherwise courier will not collect. It is your responsibility. Please also consider storage for the crates.
 
How are products packed for delivery?
We deliver our catering and event equipment in blue or clear transportation boxes like the ones you see below. Glasses are delivered in glassjacks.

Do you deliver above ground floor?
Standard courier service is to ONE LOCATION ON GROUND FLOOR and same for collection. Delivery and Pickup above ground floor level can be organised by prior arrangement but additional charges may incur depending on nature of task. Not letting us know beforehand that a large fridge for example, need delivering to the fifth floor of an old building without lift can only lead to frustration all round so communication is key.
 
Can you deliver and pickup on the same day?
Not our standard policy but can be organised please enquire.
 
After hours delivery and collection from 6pm or 12 midnight?

Payment & Options
Our online payment system has been disabled so no payment until availability of goods can be determined. 
Cheque (Please allow four working days for clearance at bank.)
Bank Transfer or Cash deposit into DeluxeHire account. We provide proforma invoice with banking detail once a customer decides to proceed with order.
Card payment - We no longer provide card payment option.
